The Quest To Find Property

I recently flew from Gatwick for a weekend break in Turkey with an aim to buying property there. I found a deal on the Internet offering really cheap flights, even once the ridiculous taxes had been included, so I booked myself onto the flight and made an appointment with the estate agent for the following day. It was completely spontaneous but I’m really glad I did it.

Part of the reason the flight was so cheap was because it departed at an hour that only owls should see – so I needed to be at the airport seriously early. I decided that the best thing to do was book into a Gatwick airport hotel the night before my flight along with booking my Gatwick airport parking, it would still be an early morning but at least this way it would be preceded by a relaxing evening and a bit of sleep.

A friend had recommended Holiday Extras so I had a look at what they offered in terms of Gatwick airport hotels and found everything that I needed. All plans were in place and I was just ready for the day to fly to Turkey. That soon come about pretty quickly and before long I was at Istanbul airport being met by my Turkey real estate agent.

He took me to a hotel and ensured I settled in before reconfirming our appointment the next day. I woke up bright and early thanks to the easy flight and assistance of the estate agent. That day was spent looking around properties and I was completely amazed at the choice that was available to me. İ wanted a cosmopolitan city apartment that suited my budget and there was too much to choose from. The building standards were high and all paperwork was in place.

As this was only a fact finding mission, I took back photos of the property that i wanted to purchase to my wife. We are both flying out next month to buy the property. So the rest of the time that I had in Turkey was spent sight seeing and I enjoyed every minute of it. The whole journey was smooth from start to finish thanks to the fact that I had booked the hotel and airport parking at Gatwick. It was also because of the assistance of the agent at this end.
